Our Success Stories
We’ve supported Sansei applications for clients from various backgrounds. Here are some examples:
- Case 1: Difficulty determining eligibility as a Sansei
- It can be challenging for applicants to determine if they meet the Sansei visa requirements. Our office conducts thorough interviews and document reviews to accurately assess eligibility and provide appropriate advice. In one case, we confirmed eligibility and obtained approval for an applicant whose Japanese-born parent had later naturalized in a foreign country.
- Case 2: Difficulties in obtaining documents
- For those living outside Japan, collecting necessary documents from Japan can be challenging. We offer a document acquisition support within Japan to support smooth document collection. For documents that are particularly difficult to obtain, we provide comprehensive support, including suggesting alternative documents.
- Case 3: Lack of relatives to act as guarantors
- Through negotiations with the Immigration Office, we enabled an application after entry on a short-term visa.
- Case 4: Overcoming language barriers
- We provided all procedures, including interviews, in English, offering clear guidance through complex processes and ensuring a reassuring application experience.
Why Consult with Us?
For those wishing to live in Japan, connect with Japanese relatives, or explore their roots through a Sansei visa application, the process can be complex and burdensome. Many struggle with concerns such as:
- “I’m not sure if I meet the requirements.”
- “It’s difficult to gather all the necessary documents.”
- “I don’t have any relatives in Japan who can act as a representative or guarantor.”
This can be particularly challenging for those who have visited Japan but never lived there, or those unfamiliar with Japanese legal systems. Language barriers are also a significant concern. Many clients request “all procedures in English” or “explanations of complex procedures in my native language.” Our office excels in English communication and can conduct the entire process in English. From interviews to document explanations and addressing your questions, we provide thorough support in English, allowing you to proceed without language-related worries.
